Summary :

Committee hosted dialogue session with the Somali govt and the Islamic Courts Union, agreeing following principles: the legitimacy of the current Somali Transitional Govt, to recognize the ICU, to continue dialogue and talks without preconditions, to explor dialogue on security and political issues and examine the possibility of forming technical committees to discuss and make proposals on such issues. Committee appealed to the intl community to provide rapid assistance.
